August is here and we have been busy!  We have raised $600.50 for Jeans for Genes with
a “Ekka” themed day.  Staff donated a Gold Coin to wear Jeans, plus we held a Staff Lunch
and best dress plush toys for prizes and loads of laughs.  Along with the Ekka Theme staff
received a showbag filled with Goodies.  We do appreciate all that our staff do for us.

With the Ekka theme we also had the Petting Zoo visit, with lots of cuddles, pats, and even feeding
the baby lambs.  Our residents soaked up some sun and enjoyed our furry friends visit.  It was
wonderful to think about the old farming days.
